Loan Protection Insurance

Are you looking for loan protection insurance like Credit Contract Insurance (CCI) or LifeStyle Protection Insurance (LPI)? Need some expert advice? Finding the right insurance policy could be hard, fortunately, Max Insurances is here to help. Read on to find out more about what we can offer.

What are CCI and LPI?

Taking out a loan can be an important financial commitment, and you are expected to make regular repayments back to the finance company over the loan term. However, life doesn’t always go to plan, and unforeseen events can quickly change your situation. That’s why it’s so important to have the right protection to cover yourself.

Credit Contract Insurance (CCI) and LifeStyle Protection Insurance (LPI) are designed to protect you from financial hardship when the unexpected happens. These two types of insurance products generally provide you with similar protection, however, they do have differences. Before purchasing, make sure that you familiarise yourself with each policy and understand exactly what you are covered for.

CCI is the type of insurance to cover your loan repayments directly to the finance company in the event of redundancy, bankruptcy, business interruption, suspension, hospitalisation, illness or accident.

LPI is based on an agreed nominated monthly amount you would like to be protected for. It helps you and your family maintain your lifestyle and financial wellbeing if anything serious should happen to you, such as death, accidental death, terminal illness, accident, disablement, redundancy, business interruption, bankruptcy, suspension and hospitalisation.
